Rita Anne Lasser

Rita Anne Lasser peacefully passed away June 10, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was born in New York, NY, lived in Glen Cove, NY while raising her family and had been a resident of South Florida for over 20 years. She was active with the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and Plantation Fire Rescue. Formerly an EMT with the Glen Cove Fire Rescue. Preceded in death by her husband, Henry R “Red” Lasser. Survived by her children, Ronnie, Kitty (Larry), John, Patti (Dave), Mike (Val), and 10 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Visitation will be June 24, 2019 at the T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM.  A funeral Mass will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church Tuesday 10:00 AM on June 25, 2019. Burial will take place at Calverton National Cemeteryon July 1, 2019 at 12:30 PM.  Memorial Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, the American Cancer Society or the Sisters of St. Joseph in St. Augustine, FL.
