Maria A. Casdia

Maria A. Casdia, 79, returned home to Heaven to rejoin her loved ones after a long struggle with COPD on Friday, October 23, 2020. Maria was born on December 23, 1940, in Brooklyn, to Maria and Edward White. She was married to Frank C. Casdia (which ended in divorce). They remained lifelong best friends, and Maria never remarried. Maria and Frank Casdia raised 2 children, Regina whom preceded her in death on February 4th, 2010, and Michael, who resides in Sunrise Florida. Maria had 2 sisters, Linda Sorrentino and Theresa Mularo, and 3 brothers, Harold White, Micky White, and John Henry Mathis. She is survived by her son Michael, sisters Linda and Theresa, brother Mickey, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2020 12:00 PM at Lauderdale Memorial Park 2001 SW 4th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.
