Beverly Esther Morgan Sirota, resident of “Willow Bay Senior Resort” went to Heaven, April 27^th, 2021. Mom always had a strong desire to be safe in God’s arms. 

Bev was born November 7^th, 1933, in Union, New Jersey, to Walter and Ramona Morgan.

She was drawn to the beaches in South Florida. Early 1950’s, Bev, and her friends, vacationed in South Florida for a two-week girl’s trip. In the short time she was visiting, she met the love of her life, Raymond Sirota. Bev spotted Raymond at the beach and declared, “I am going to marry that guy.” As the story goes, he came over, rubbed her vivacious red hair and said, “Hey Red, can I put lotion on you, you’re going to burn?!” They were married a few months later. Their union gave them four beautiful children; Walter, Ray Jr, Diane, and Terri.

All of Bev’s life seemed full of magic; so many wonderful stories! Our mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She was a classy lady, loved entertaining, baking, playing the piano, and was always open to anyone who needed a listening ear.

Christmas time was spent together at Nana’s townhouse in Davie. Giving presents, and decorating was pure joy for her. Britt, her granddaughter, called her “Banana Nana”, and it stuck. “Banana Nana’s” grandchildren were her pride and delight; always sharing their many accomplishments. Bev’s sisters, Aunt Kathy, and Aunt Diane said “she loved having an ‘open house’, with a good meal and a warm apple pie with raisins.”

Bev was the founder and CEO of “Colonial Credit”. True to her nature, she valued and spoiled her very loved employees.  

Bev enjoyed taking her family and friends to different beach hotels in the 1980’s and 90’s. She loved getting everyone together just to be in each other’s company; we loved playing cards, singing, and being with one another. To Beverly’s family and friends, she loved you all more than you will ever know.

Jean, Beverly’s best friend, started “The Club” of nine girls in Jersey. Bev and her other best buddy, Uncle Bobby, would often share a shot, and beers. Bev and her sisters would share a dance and a song, all with that Morgan charm and magic. At the end of any gathering, Nana, would sit back with an accomplished grin taking drags from her Pall Mall’s, being careful not to “inhale”.

Bev’s expertise was in traveling throughout the United States. She especially loved Las Vegas, Chicago, NYC, Colorado, and would light up when talking about them. Bev loved the English language, and had quite the knack for writing. If you were ever promised a dollar from Bev, you knew she liked you. Beverly’s laugh always came from her soul, and she was a true romantic.

Bev loved people and believed in every product presented in Oil Right’s, World Book Encyclopedia’s, Mary Kay, etc. The best job she ever had though was working in Hialeah Hospital’s Admissions Department; her kids visited the hospital a lot, accident prone I suppose!

Later in life, Bev was passionate sharing with all about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She would frequently pause to say, “He who believeth in Me shall not perish, but have everlasting Life and that’s it”.

Beverly is survived by children, Raymond (Diane) Sirota, Diane (Paul) Sirota-Pittman; sisters Diane Brown and Kathleen (Ron) Kriete); daughter-in-law, Pamela Sirota, and son-in-law, Mark Hornsby.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Alexander Sirota; son, Walter Joseph Sirota, and her daughter, Terri Lynn Hornsby.

Bev’s legacy will continue through her nine grandchildren, Erin (Chris) Charles, Amy (Shane), Matthew Sirota, Ashley Pittman, Chelsey Pittman, Russel (Stephanie) Pittman, Brittney (Bennett) Balcer, Paige Hornsby, Grace Hornsby, and eight great-grandchildren Ava Charles, Axsel Charles, Brinley White, Gabe White, James Sirota, Colton Pittman, Pittman baby due in November 2021 and Koraleigh Balcer
