Vincent Barbera

A Beloved Man

Vincent "Jimmy" Barbera, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 89. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on February 19, 1935, to Joseph and Antonia Barbera, Jimmy lived a life filled with love, joy, and generosity. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 65 years, Theresa Barbera, and his children: Anthony and Denise Barbera, Maria and Jack Wiseley, and Annette and Mark Buscemi. Jimmy's legacy extends to his cherished grandchildren: John (Michelle), Randi (Ricardo), Vincent (Jennifer), Samantha (Michael), Stephen (Victoria), Jennifer (Edward), Leondro (Lynn), and Theresa (Jonathan), as well as his 11 great-grandchildren.

At the heart of Jimmy's life was his family. He was incredibly proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, often speaking of their accomplishments with beaming pride.

Known for his kind heart and willingness to help others, Jimmy was always there to lend a hand. He would help anyone in need regardless of the situation.

Jimmy's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. He was a one of a kind person who will be deeply missed for his loving heart and impish sense of humor.
