Thomas James Woods

Thomas Woods, 63 of Sunrise, FL passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side.

Tommy was born in New York, New York to Albert and Marian Woods on November 14, 1960.

Tommy's passion for helping people and fixing things brought him to the boating industry at the age of 17. He dedicated over 45 yrs at Davey Marine Center where he held several positions including; Lead mechanic, Rigging specialist, Parts and Service Manager.

He is survived by his wife Lisa, whom he married on May 24, 2000.

Sons; Steven, and Corey, his wife Pilar, granddaughter Avery Olivia, brothers; Robert Woods, and wife Kathleen, Edward, sister; Susan (Woods) Lathen, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends. 

Tommy will always be remembered for his kind heart and selflessness, whose happiness was derived from taking care of others.
