Tom Collins, 62, of Coral Springs, FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 5, 2024. He was born on December 6, 1961.
Tom was an avid Miami Dolphins and Miami Hurricane Fan. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing and skiing. Unfortunately, he was on a skiing trip with his brother Dan and some friends when he passed away. Tom had fought a long battle with cancer over the past many years and was truly a fighter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Tom is survived by his brothers, Dan and Tim Collins; his half-brother and sister, Mike Collins (Kim) and Cindy Laganiere (Ian); his stepmother, Kathy Collins; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Ken Collins; his mother, Carlyn Poskitt Collins; and his grandparents on both sides.
A memorial service will be held in Tom's honor at TM Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, located at 7001 NW 4 Street, Plantation, FL 33317, on February 17th from 1 to 4 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (link provided) in memory of Tom.
