Theresa (Conti) Barbera

Theresa Barbera, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, entered eternal rest on December 21, 2025, at the age of 86. She was born on June 23, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, to Mario and Mary Conti.

Theresa was a devoted mother to Anthony Barbera and Denise Barbera; Maria Wiseley and her husband Jack; and Annette Buscemi and her husband Mark. She was a cherished grandmother to John (Michelle), Randi (Ricardo), Vincent (Jennifer), Samantha (Michael), Stephen (Victoria), Jennifer (Edward), Leondro (Lynn), and Theresa (Jonathan) all of whom brought her immense joy and a loving great-grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren.

Faith and family were at the center of Theresa’s life. She lived her life with a servant’s heart, reflecting God’s love through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering willingness to help others. Theresa had a special love for children and found her greatest purpose in caring for her family and those in need. A caregiver by nature, she volunteered her time and shared compassion freely, touching countless lives along the way.

Theresa’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends. While she will be deeply missed, they find comfort in knowing she is reunited in heaven with her love, Vincent “Jimmy” Barbera, whose marriage spanned 65 wonderful years.
