Sybil Jean Wynter passed through Heaven’s gate, into the waiting arms of The Lord, on March 13, 2023. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend, she is now resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sybil who is known to her many nieces and nephews as Aunt Jean, was born in Manchester, Jamaica on August 2, 1940, to John Wesley Davy and Iris May Davy. She was the eighth of eleven children.

Remaining to cherish Sybil's memory are her husband Alfa Wynter; her four children: Leonard, Charmaine, Winsome, Reva; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 5 siblings: Herbert, Enid, Cynthia, Cutburt, Nelson.

Preceding Sybil in death are her parents Wesley and Iris and her siblings Reva, Keith, Meril, Rhona, and Beverly
