In Loving Memory

     In 1970, Susan was born and adopted by her family in Texas. Early in her career she was a Singer and then an accomplished Fire Dispatcher for Fort Lauderdale Fire-Rescue. Later in her career she transitioned to a 911 Operator, saving many lives. It was at this job where she met her Ex-husband, whom she would raise her children with. She was a great and passionate mother, working tirelessly to ensure her children lived happy and healthy lives. Beyond parenthood, Susan had many passions in life. She enjoyed hockey games, was a fantastic cook, music, animals and loved travelling, especially to theme parks. Susan had a remarkable sense of humor and brightened the room around her. She was always willing to extend a warm, loving arm to those who needed it, even when she was struggling the most.

    During a tragic night on January 28th, Susan passed away unexpectedly. Her death was sudden and too soon. On the road to her recovery, it seemed like she had many years left with the people in her life. We are devastated and deeply scarred by this loss. Although she is gone from this world, we will always remember the laughs, lessons, and tender care she has given us.

    In the coming weeks, we will host a Celebration of Life, Date and location are yet to be determined. In lieu of flowers, the Family requests you make donations to the Humane Society of Broward County in her name.
