Rita Bartley, age 92, of Sunrise, Florida passed away on Monday, April 11^th 2022, 

Rita was born in Brooklyn, New York and was married to John Bartley on October 4^th, 1952.  She raised 3 daughters and moved with her family to Florida in 1970.  She loved traveling, spending time with her family and making new friends.  She also enjoyed dancing, playing bingo, eating sweets, bowling and singing along to her favorite songs.

She is survived by her daughters, Debra Benty and husband Joseph Benty, Carol Bennet and husband Kevin Bennett, Elizabeth Treese and husband Robert Treese, and her 4 grandaughters and their families, Christina Eichhorn, Jennifer Joyce, Jackie Treese and Cathleen Louis.  She is preceded in death by her husband, John Bartley.

The family will be holding a private visitation in Plantation, Florida.  She will be laid to rest alongside her husband of 48 years at the Florida National Cemetery.
