Raul Ruales, born January 25, 1943, in Cali, Colombia, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2026, in Weston, Florida. His life, spanning eighty-three remarkable years, was a testament to joy, dedication, and an unwavering love for family and community.

Raul was known by all who met him as fun, loving, outgoing, caring, passionate, and deeply generous. These qualities shaped his journey from his earliest days in Colombia to the vibrant life he built in Florida. Raul’s spirit was infectious; he touched countless lives with his warmth and kindness.

Family was always at the heart of Raul’s life. He is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Maria Ruales, whose unwavering love and partnership were his greatest source of strength. He is also survived by his beloved sons, George, Raul Andres, and Maurice Ruales, and his daughters-in-law, Claudia Salinas Ruales and Sandra Ruales. Raul was a proud and loving grandfather to Meghan, Dante, Marc, Dillon, Nicolas, and Alexander Ruales, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.

The memory of Raul's late mother, Dina Ruales, remained a guiding influence throughout his life, inspiring him to lead with compassion and integrity.

Raul’s life overflowed with interests that brought happiness to himself and those around him. A passionate soccer enthusiast, he enjoyed spirited matches both as a player in his youth and as a devoted fan later in life. He found peace and excitement in the simple joys of fishing, treasured moments spent at cookouts, at the beach, and traveling to new places. Above all, Raul loved nothing more than gatherings with his family, cherishing every opportunity to create new memories together.

Those who knew Raul will remember his stories, laughter, and the welcoming embrace he extended to all. His generosity was evident in both grand gestures and small acts of kindness; he was always ready to lend a listening ear, share a hearty meal, or encourage those around him.
