Pauline Alexcia was born August 28th, 1947 in Spanish Town, Jamaica to Headley Martin and Adlin May Rhoden. She attended St. Jago High School in 1958 and then migrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1964 where she completed her high school education at Central Evening High School. Upon graduation, she entered the workforce in the accounting industry. She gave birth to her only child, Andrew, on February 13th, 1976. She attended St. Francis College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1985. She relocated to Florida in 1986 and continued her career as an Accountant. She retired in 2006. Pauline was blessed with her grandsons, Darius, in 2009 and Dominic in 2016. She adored and cared for her family until her passing on January 23rd, 2021.
Pauline is survived by her son, Andrew, her daughter Stephanie, her grandsons Darius and Dominic, her siblings Sylvia (Sheila/Leonard), Melmoth (Doreen), Miriam, Locksley (Judith), and Audly (Howard/Norma). Pauline was preceded in death by her sister Marguerite.
Due to the difficulty of this time, gatherings are limited in size. To allow the most people to attend a virtual funeral service will be held. Information to join will be posted at the bottom of the obituary. To send a recorded message of condolence please use this link
A walk thru visitation will be held between 2:30 -3:30 PM. Should you choose to visit briefly, please wear mask and follow social distancing. You may be asked to wait prior to entering the funeral home. Visitation will conclude at 3:30 PM. The funeral service will be held virtually.
