Pauline Nelson Reinert Jones, 94, passed peacefully on March 14 at her assisted living facility in Plantation, FL. Polly was born in Olive Branch, MS, a place that she was always proud to call home, and attended Olive Branch High School. She began her career as a bookkeeper at Union Planters Bank and later was an executive assistant for Holiday Inns. She resided in Memphis and Santa Rosa Beach, FL most of her life before moving to Plantation. She loved the white sugar beach of Santa Rosa, baking brownies for neighborhood children, and especially loved being a grandma and great grandma. Polly loved her family and friends and prayed for them every day.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 6 brothers. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas James Reinert (1961) and Robert Hale Jones Jr (2005). She is survived by her son, Brad Reinert (Kay) and granddaughters Lori Bartlett (Drew) and Rachel Reinert, as well as great granddaughters Mackenzie and Audrey. She is also survived by brothers Tucker Nelson of Jensen Beach, FL and Sidney Nelson (Pat) of Olive Branch. The family wishes to express gratitude to the caring staff at Five Star Assisted Living Facility and Vitas Hospice who treated her with compassion and love. A graveside service will be held at Memphis Memorial Park, Saturday April 27, 2024 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the organization of your choice in Polly’s memory.
