On May 14, 2026, the world lost a bright and gentle soul. Nathan Deacon Walters, born October 29, 2001, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 24. His easygoing nature, loving demeanor, and gentle soul reflected a generous spirit that touched the lives of family and friends alike. Though his time with us was far too short, the warmth, humor, and love he brought into the world will play on in our hearts forever.

Nathan was deeply passionate about the outdoors and embraced a life enriched with diverse interests. He loved animals and was devoted to caring for and pampering family pets. He found joy in fishing, cooking—often experimenting with new recipes—and working on his car. His musical talents came alive when playing the guitar, and he also had a keen interest in technology. Above all, Nathan treasured spending time with family and friends, creating memories that will be forever cherished.

Family was the cornerstone of Nathan’s happiness. Some of his favorite moments included Saturday dinners that brought everyone together, lively games of cards and board games, and numerous weekends filled with camping and hiking adventures. He loved traveling and visiting family and friends, always making the most of every opportunity to connect. Especially dear to him was his relationship with his nephew, Colson Walters, with whom he enjoyed playful and heartfelt moments.

Nathan’s dedication extended to his education, where he earned CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications at Sheridan Technical College—demonstrating his commitment to personal growth and professional development in the field of technology.

He is lovingly remembered by his father, Glen Walters; mother, Cheryl Walters; sister, Kelsey Walters; brother, Jack Walters; and nephew, Colson Walters. Nathan was also cherished by his grandparents, Ron and Jan Deacon and Marcy Walters, as well as his beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and many long-time friends. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Walters.
