Michael John Bowman "Bones"

With the heaviest of hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Michael John Bowman "Bones", age 65, on June 28, 2026. He was born on December 21, 1960, to his late parents Lee Henry Bowman and Earla Bertha Bowman (née Stohler), in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He grew up adoring his father and enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding motorcycles. At the age of 17, he joined the United States Army and served his country as Private First Class from January 9th, 1978, to March 26, 1980. After being honorably discharged, he received an Associate of Applied Science in Electronics Technology at the Community College of Denver in Colorado. He was dedicated to the field of Information Technology. From 2007-2009, he would again proudly serve the military as an independent contractor, Senior System Administrator, at Camp Victory in Iraq.

He was fortunate to be a father and ultimately blessed when he met the love of his life, Jennifer. Together they moved from Denver, Colorado to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he dedicated his life to her and their two dogs, Cash and Cruiser, his two best friends. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jennifer Elizabeth Templeton and his siblings, Harold Lee Bowman (predeceased), Ray Andrew Bowman and Rebecca Ann Mumaw. He is survived by his two children, Sean Michael Bowman and Krista Leigh Lee, named after her grandfather, his son-in-law Jacob Nash Lee and his two grandchildren whom he cherished, Kaleigha Ruth-Lynn and Archer John Louis Lee.

Bones was loyal, had strong beliefs and loved fiercely. He had a way to constantly make people laugh with everything from his quirky sense of humor to fancy dance moves and mischievous antics. His legacy lives on through the people he touched and the gift of all the happy memories we will hold dear as he is always and forever in our hearts.
