Mary Jo Taylor

Mary Jo Taylor, 87 of Tamarac, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2021, after a brief illness. Mary Jo was born February 18, 1934, in Richwood, West Virginia. She lived for many years in Rockville, Maryland where she began a long career with State Farm Insurance Company. She moved to Sunrise in 1975 and continued with State Farm in Plantation as an adjustor. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her husband, Jim and her daughter, Debbie. She leaves behind two sons, Chuck (Peggy) and Scott (Jessica) along with a large family of friends. A celebration of life will be held at a future date. The family would like to express its thanks to the staffs of Right at Home and Vitas Hospice care.
