HONORING THE LIFE OF OUR BELOVED

Mary Ann Bishop Rahming was the second child born to the late George Bishop, Sr.  and Rhoda Mae Bishop. She was born on June 27, 1945, in Hallandale Beach, Florida. At the young age of five, Mary and her family moved to the North Miami Beach area of South Florida, also known as Washington Park. Mary attended Holmes Elementary School, in Liberty City. She then went on to attend North Dade Junior/ Senior High School, in Miami-Dade County, where she graduated in 1963. After graduation, Mary worked as a Nurse’s Aide before marrying her high-school sweetheart, Ronald L.  Rahming, Sr., on June 11, 1965. This union produced three children:  Yvette C. Rahming, Ronald L. Rahming, Jr.  and Traci Y. Rahming-Berkeley. After traveling abroad and extensively throughout the country, Mary and Ronald returned to South Florida, where they continued to raise their family. Mary later worked as a CRT Operator for Wachovia Bank, which later became Wells Fargo Bank.  On July 3, 2008, after 25 years of dedicated service, Mary retired from Wells Fargo Bank.

Mary gained her wings on Sunday, October 9, 2022, joining her mom, Rhoda Bishop; her dad, George Bishop, Sr., sister, Mamie Curry and her sister-in-law, Rose Bishop.

Mary left to cherish her memories her three children:   Yvette C. Rahming, Ronald L. Rahming, Jr, and Traci Y.  Berkeley (Dave); her siblings:   George Bishop, Sr. of Miami, Florida; Levi Bishop of Columbia, South Carolina; Betty Chambers (Alvin) of Miami-Gardens, Florida; Helen Dickey of Seattle, Washington; Viola Anderson (Moses) of Coral Springs, Florida, and Barbara Bishop of North Miami Beach, Florida.

She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren:   Ronald Rahming III, Brandon Rahming, Leonard Rushing, Jr., Arianna Berkeley, Dave Berkeley, Jr., Noah Rahming, Ronnie Melina Rahming and Johnny Smith and a host of loving family members and friends.
