She found great joy in the lives of her grandchildren: Joseph, Austin (and Kelly), Nicolas (and Sara), Brian, Collin, Samantha (and Fisher), Mitchell, Rachel, and David. Additionally, Marilyn was proud of her great-grandchildren, Everly, Henry, and Andie.

She is lovingly remembered by her family, which continues to grow and thrive, bearing the legacy of her love and compassion. Marilyn was predeceased by her father, Lawrence Topel, her mother, Martha Topel, and her brother, Lawrence Topel, Jr.
