Marie Monique Constant fondly known by the sweet nickname "Mona", was born to Constant Poitevien and Andre Rigaud in Port Au Prince Haiti. She was a beloved mother of 5 children, loving sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

"Married to Dr. Maurice Constant (deceased in 1999), Mona is survived by her five children: Jean-Bernard, Magalie, Maurice Jr, Martin Rony and Jean-Paul as well as her five loving grandchildren: Shelby, Ethan, Cyril, Tessa and Ian. Her beloved living family, very dear sisters Hughette, Marie Jose, Ghislaine and brother Jean-Claude, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews she loved as her own will miss her dearly

Mona had a generous heart. So generous that if she only had a penny to live on, she would gladly give it away to someone in need...just for the satisfaction of knowing that she had helped someone and put that someone in a better place. Mona had dedicated her life to her children that she loved very dearly. Her laughter was infectious and contagious as she was a happy person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She was a very devout woman of great faith to the Lord, our god and had made many sacrifices thoughout her whole life in the name of the Lord.

For those who had the privilege of knowing Mona, their lives will forever be enriched and her stories will forever be remembered."

Like Mona would want us all to remember her with her infectious laughter in happy times, following the church service in the afternoon, we will have a luncheon to celebrate her life, reminisce, support each other and of course just chat away with loving and everlasting memories.
