Lucinda A Ocken

Lucinda A. Ocken, 101 of Tamarac, Fl died at her residence after a short illness on June 8, 2020. She was born July 29, 1918 in Carroll, Iowa, a daughter of Joseph and Katherine Reinart.  She  married  Chet Ocken of Breda, Iowa on July 5, 1938. She became an LPN in 1964 and continued with her nursing career until retirement in 1992.

A Funeral Mass will be held on June 27, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St Bernard Catholic Church in Sunrise.  A Memorial Mass is tentatively planned for October 10, 2020  at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breda, IA. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Carroll, Iowa with the assistance of Sharp Funeral Home in Breida, IA.  She is survived by her children Jerry (Virginia) of Council Bluffs, IA, Diane (Larry) Wilberding of Plantation, FL, Elaine Haubrich of Council Bluffs, IA, Sandy(Patrick) Goodwin of Dade City, FL; 13 grandchidlren, 24 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Katie, son in law Larry Haubrich, great granddaughter Leona and seven siblings.
