Lorraine Andersen Stevens, lovingly known to all as "Sweet Lorraine," passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026. Born on July 28, 1978, in West Islip, New York, Lorraine's life was a profound testament to kindness, love, and unwavering dedication.
Lorraine was a gifted licensed professional counselor, enriched by her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Her career was marked by compassion and commitment to helping others, embodying a spirit of grace and understanding that touched countless lives. But beyond her professional achievements, Lorraine’s heart truly belonged to her family. A devoted wife to Corey Stevens and cherished mother to their three beloved children—Aarya, Justin, and Ethan—she found her greatest joy in their laughter, their creativity, and the simple moments they shared, especially when engaged in arts and crafts.
“Our Sweet Lorraine was the kindest, purest, most beautiful soul,” those close to her recall with bittersweet affection. She was a beacon of light with a joyous laugh that could brighten even the darkest days. Lorraine’s love knew no bounds, and her family remained her deepest blessing. Her faith was a cornerstone of her strength, and those who knew her believe that she has found eternal peace and joy wrapped in Jesus' love.
Lorraine was the beloved daughter of the late Norman and Margaret Andersen. She is survived by her devoted husband Corey Stevens, her adoring children Aarya, Justin, and Ethan Stevens, and her brothers Kenneth and Martin Andersen, who will carry forward her memory with love and pride.
The community of friends and family who knew Lorraine will gather to honor her life and legacy at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston in Sunrise, Florida. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. on May 28, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m., and a graveside service at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach at 1:00 p.m. that same day.
Lorraine’s legacy of love, faith, and tenderness is a beacon for those who remain, inspiring us to live with the same grace and joy she so effortlessly shared. We will miss you always, Sweet Lorraine, and until we meet again—Up Mayo ☘️. Your beautiful soul has left an indelible mark on our hearts and will forever be cherished.
