Linda Sharpe

Linda Sharpe, 74, of Davie, passed away March 7, 2020, with her loving family by her side.

The youngest of three, Linda was the bright-star baby of the family and seldom without a smile, inheriting her laughing blue eyes and zest for life from her Mother, and her talent for pranks and practical jokes from her Father.  From her early days growing up on a dairy farm in Woodstock, IL, her love of horseback riding and the outdoors never left her. 

Whether delving into jig-saw puzzles or crossword puzzles, binge-watching action movies with her grandchildren or boogying to 60s music, she gave it her all . . . and no one could beat her at Scrabble! 

Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather Anthony; her son, Alex and his wife, Laura Sharpe; four grandchildren, Katie Sharpe, Nicholas Sharpe, Christopher Sharpe, and Anna Sharpe; one great grandchild, Phillip Sharpe; brother, Tom Neubacher, and sister, Karen Johns.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 5:00 PM - 9:00PM, T. M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow Thursday, 10:00 AM, St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church.  Internment will take place on a later day in Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery. 

Linda’s immense love and joy in her family never dimmed, even as she slipped away from us.  When darkness fell, she was like a stained glass window whose beauty shows best when lit from within, beating back the night.  How we miss her already!
