Linda Adele Owen

Linda Adele Owen passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, in Plantation, Florida surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, and at six months of age, her family relocated to Southern California, where she was raised and later established her own family.

In 2012, Linda moved to Plantation to retire and to be closer to her children and cherished grand-pets.

Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh, beautiful smile, and kind and generous spirit that left a lasting impression.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Helen Gilbert, and her sister, Gloria. She is survived by her daughter, Kelley Adele Darling; her son, David Owen, and his wife, Cynthia; her brother, Ken and his wife, Cheryl; her sister, Sandee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will always treasure her memory.

A Memorial Service honoring Linda’s life will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025, at TM Ralph Funeral Homes, 7001 NW 4th Street, Plantation, Florida 33317. The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:30 p.m.
