Listen to Obituary

You were the Heart when we needed Love, You were the Hug when we needed Stability,

You were the Voice when we needed Reason, You were the Silence when we needed someone to Hear,

You were the Hand when we needed Guidance, You were the Smile when we needed Confidence,

You were the SUNSHINE when our Skies were Gray.

In Our Memory We'll Always Love You, In Our Hearts Our SUNSHINE will Stay.

Linda Deane Williams was born in Yonkers, New York to two Army Service members, Jack and Bert, their only cherished child. They soon moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. Linda spent many hours on the beach and learned many of life's lessons from her grandma. Linda spent her teen years in Melbourne, where she rooted her faith in God and where she met the love of her life. A bond with Tom that would last sixty years making a joyful life with him as they raised four children, instilled the love for God in children through her devotion to Catholic Scouting, and travel the world by his side. Linda was full of life, optimism and song, never sat still and was always there to lend a hand or ear. The hum of a song, the big pockets on housecoats, the clickety click of a court stenography machine, the real estate listing of a piece of property, the last bead in a handmade rosary, going to the beach, because it cures all things and celebrating life's special moments, will forever remind us of a life well lived. Linda was accepting of all people, genuinely interested in the lives that touched hers. Her words of advice "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".

Linda, Linny, Mom, Mamie, Grandma, Great Grandma, Aunt Linda and friend,

YOU are Our SUNSHINE and in Our Hearts Our SUNSHINE will Stay.
