It's with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved sister, aunt and great aunt, Linda Busch, who died on October 4, 2026 at the age of 67. Linda was a woman of faith who fought a brave battle with kidney disease and psychiatric illness. She is now with God and her loving family who preceded her in death. Linda's family enjoyed her sense of humor. She loved cats and rescued many of them. Linda also enjoyed her food and loved her family.
Linda was born on Christmas day 1958 to Doris and Kenneth Busch. She was the youngest of three daughters brought up in East Northport, New York. She graduated from Northport High School and received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the New York Institute of Technology. She pursued a career as an accountant following in her father's footsteps.
She moved to Florida in the 1980's where she met the love of her life, Steven Brown, at bible class. They were married almost 30 years when her husband passed in 2024.
Linda was predeceased by her parents Kenneth and Doris Busch; her husband Steven Brown and brother-in-law Ralph Ciccio. She is survived by her sisters, Jeanne (and Neil) Larson and Carol Ciccio (and Richard Schenck); her sister-in-law Sue (and Scott) Hamilton; nephews Erik Larson, James Ciccio (and Christina Rinaldo) and Kyle (and Jennifer) Brown.
We are very grateful for the compassionate care Linda received from Vitas Hospice. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be given by mail to: Vitas Community Connection, PO Box 645352, Cincinnati, OH 45264-5352 or by email to: http://vitascommunityconnection.org/
