Lillian Anne Itayim

With heavy hearts but steadfast faith, we announce the passing of Lillian Itayim, our beloved mother, grandmother, and Nonni. She was a woman of great strength, unwavering honesty, and deep love, a light in the lives of all who knew her. Surrounded by her family, she entered into eternal rest, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and devotion that will live on through each generation.Lillian devoted more than thirty years of honorable service to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, where she retired as a Sergeant. Her leadership, courage, and compassion touched countless lives, both within her department and in the community she served so faithfully.She was a devoted wife to her late husband, Sami Itayim, with whom she shared a blessed marriage filled with love, laughter and faith. Together they built a home centered on family, kindness and integrity. A devout Catholic, Lillian’s faith guided every part of her life. She found peace and strength in the Holy Rosary and joy in attending Mass. Her love for God was evident in her compassion for others, her devotion to family, and her unshakeable belief in the power of prayer. She faced life’s challenges with grace and gratitude, trusting always in the Lord’s will.Lillian lived her life with tradition in her hands and fire in her spirit. She was strong, loyal, and steadfast, unafraid to speak her mind and quick to stand up for what she believed was right. To be loved by her was to be loved deeply and completely.Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and welcome, filled with the aroma of her famous pasta and sauce, a family recipe that will continue to bring comfort to those she loved.As a mother and grandmother, she gave strength, humor, and guidance rooted in faith. She taught us to stand tall, to speak truth, to love unconditionally, and to always remember that our blessings come from God.She is survived by her beloved family: her son Sam, her granddaughter Abigail, her grandson Sam Elliot, her sister Carol Daly, her brother John Conti, and her daughter-in-law Mariela, each of whom carries within them her love, her joy, and her faith.We take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her dear husband, Sami, and that together they now rest in the presence of the Lord.We will miss your voice, your laughter, and your endless love, but we find peace in knowing that your soul is at rest and your faith has carried you home.We take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her dear husband, Sami, and that together they now rest in the presence of the Lord.
