Karen L Unti

Karen L. Anderson Unti, 69, of Fort Lauderdale, passed away Tuesday October 27th, peacefully at home. Born on July 1st, 1951 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Jere and Margaret “Peggy” Anderson. She attended local schools in Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford. On December 20th, 1969 she married Gary Unti. They lived in Kenosha until 1972 and then moved to Fort Lauderdale, where they lived the rest of their lives. Gary preceded her in death. She spent most of her life as a homemaker. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Together with her husband, they owned and managed Racing horses. Karen was a team mom when Brian “son” played football as a child. She also loved visiting Disney World as often as she could. She is survived by her son Brian(Samantha) Unti, Fort Lauderdale, Grandson, Dominick Unti, Fort Lauderdale, Sister Lisa(Keith) Cesario, Kenosha, WI, Brother Kurt Anderson, Kansasville, WI, Niece, Jamie Salas, Kenosha, WI, Nephew, Daniel Anderson, Kansasville, WI Niece, Ashley(Joseph) Karls, Kenosha, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Keith Anderson, Sister in law Joanie Anderson, and both fraternal and paternal Grandparents. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
