Joseph George Wells Jr., 60, of Davie, Florida, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on September 28th, 2023. He was born in North Canton, Ohio on September 25, 1963. Joe was an active child and grew up wrestling and playing football. He also worked with his father building houses in their hometown. Joe graduated from Hoover High and then attended Miami University of Ohio where he competed on the wrestling team.

Joe moved to Florida to work for his grandfather's company, William’s Bank Installation, and eventually took over. He dedicated 40 years of his life to growing and maintaining the business where his son now works. He met his wife, Dawn Bletcher-Wells, in 1985, and on June 14, 1991, they were married. After his children were born he involved himself in their lives by coaching his son's sports teams and attending every one of his daughter’s dance recitals. He was a passionate craftsman, fisherman, husband, father, and friend. Joe lived every day to the fullest and was always friendly and warm, even to strangers and animals.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Dawn Bletcher-Wells, his children Nicholas and Taylor Wells, his father Joseph Wells Sr., siblings Deann Wells, Lorrenna Walczak (Steve), Adam Wells (Robin), his sister in laws Debra Drakos (Andy), and Susan Smithson, brother-in-law Phil Clark, and nieces and nephews Christy Higbee, Danille Napolitano, Derrick Weaver, Andrea Drakos, Keith Drakos, Rachel Smithson, Christopher Drakos, Dylan Walczak, Shelby Walczak.

He is met in heaven by his mother Donna Wells, his grandparents Albert and Irene Williams, Georgia and Larry Jobin, and Joseph and Catherine Wells, his mother-in-law Carmella Bletcher, and his sister-in-law Donna Napolitano
