Joseph “Joey” Lee Lester, passed away unexpectedly April 10^th, 2021, at the age of 44.  

Joey was born on February 12^th, 1977, in Plantation, Florida. He attended Saint Thomas Aquinas High School where he met the love of his life, Natalie, and graduated in 1995.  Joey earned his degree in Building Construction from The University of Florida. 

Joey and Natalie were united in marriage on July 7^th, 2001. Joey loved spending time with Natalie and the boys especially enjoying time on the ocean, fishing, watching sports, and barbecuing.

A lover of the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman who loved being on the water with his family. He was a wonderful father to his two boys, and loved teaching them to fish, golf, and coached some of their youth sports teams. Joey worked in construction as a Project Manager for over 20 years.  He was an expert in his field and highly respected by so many in the construction community.  

Joey was a loved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. 

He is survived by his wife, Natalie (Mazzoni) and two sons Vinnie (12) and Anthony (9); his parents Lee and Barbara (Ross) Lester; his brothers Todd (Linda) Flack, Eddie (Lisa) Flack; his sisters Stephanie (Luke) Munson, Jennifer (Todd) Baker; numerous nieces, nephews, a great niece, great nephews his in laws and cousins. He was loved by so many and will be greatly missed but will live on through his boys.

Visitation will be Thursday at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home 371 NW 136 Avenue Sunrise, FL on Thursday from 5:00-8:00 PM

We respectfully request that when you visit facial coverings be worn, and please follow social distancing.  You are welcome to visit the family briefly, to allow the most people to attend.   Funeral Mass will be held Friday April 16, 2021 at 1:30pm at St. David Catholic Church, Please follow seating guidance at the church.
