Joseph A. Flo

Joseph A. Flo passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021 at the age of 80 in Sunrise, Florida. He was born in Utica, NY on October 1 1940, the only son of the late Joseph and Rosemary Flo. On August 5, 1961 he married the love of his life, Angela Trevisani and they were blessed with almost 60 years of marriage and a family who loved and adored him. He is survived by his loving wife, their daughter Jolene Flo, son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Jessie, and son Jeffrey and daughter-in-law Jennifer; his cherished grandchildren to whom he was known as “Poppy”, Freddie and Michelle Flo, Amanda Flo, Samantha and Patrick Ryan, Kristina Flo and her partner Bryan, Nick Flo, Jordan Flo, and his precious great-grandchildren children Santino and Avianna Flo; many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews; especially Gary (and Lorene) Grates, Greg (and Vita) Grates, and David (and Jackie) Giruzzi; niece Nicole (and Steve) Mauro; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Maryann and Tony Vesnaver, and sister-in-law Lenora Trevisani; as well as life-long and dear friend Vinnie Rocci. He is predeceased by his infant sons Keith and Kevin, sisters and brothers-in-law Corrine and Fred Grates, Angela and Butch Giruzzi; and his brother-in-law Tom Trevisani. Joe Flo was a man who appreciated the simple things in life and most enjoyed being with his family and friends. From traveling and living in his RV in the Florida Keys with his wife to relaxing by the pool with his friends at Pine Ridge, his presence was always a comfort and comical relief to those around him. “Joe Flo”, “Dad”, “Poppy”, “Uncle Joe” was a father figure to many and touched the lives and hearts of all he loved.
