John M Clawson

John "Bud" Clawson Jr. passed away peacefully on August 6, 2026, in the home he cherished for 57 years. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on September 13, 1930, to the late John Clawson Sr. and Lena Bauserman Clawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Willovene "Billie" Latshaw and Bonnie Miller. He is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Bredel Clawson; his three children, Gary, Jeff, and Gail; his five grandchildren, Jessica, Jennifer, Amber, Rachael, and Christopher; and 10 great-grandchildren.

John worked as a trucker, welder, and proud member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union. Outside of work, he enjoyed riding his bicycle, watching NASCAR, helping with farm work, and relaxing on the porch to chat with neighbors. Known affectionately as the "Mayor of Broadview" for his friendly, constant presence in the neighborhood, John will be remembered most for his generous spirit and his endless willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need
