Andreozzi, Jean C. (Palumbo), 93, of Boynton Beach in her final years, passed away on August 23, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Philip L. Andreozzi. Born, raised & married in Barrington, RI, she then lived in Braintree, MA; Upper Marlboro, MD; and Plantation, FL. Jean is survived by six sons: Philip, Jr., John (Janice), Jeff (Cathy), Mark (Mary), Greg, and Dean (Vicki). Her grandchildren include Keith, Ryan, Chelsea, Megan, Jennifer, Michael, Jacqueline, Brittany, and Jillian. Great-grandchildren include Madison, Edwin, Gwendolyn, Blair, Ollie, Lennon, and Jameson. She is also survived by her first cousin and lifetime best “friend” Joan DiPetrillo of Plantation, FL. Employed as a bank clerk prior to her marriage to Philip, Jean settled down as a homemaker while raising her six sons. She was a star high school athlete and was an enthusiastic supporter of her sons’ athletic activities. She also took up golf and bowling as an adult, captaining teams into her ninth decade in the latter, always meeting socially with some of the bowling "girls" who became her dearest friends. Always there to help out, she loved being a grandmother. Her grandkids adored her, looking forward to spending time at Gramma’s. An avid volunteer, Jean was secretary and treasurer for the Upper Marlboro Boys and Girls Club, assisting her commissioner husband Philip in establishing the club as one of the premier youth organizations in the greater Washington D.C. metropolitan area. She also served as unofficial “bus” driver for MBGC, shuttling many of the kids without transportation means to and from sports practices and games. Deeply devoted in her Catholic faith, Jean was an active parishioner throughout her life at Holy Angels Church in Barrington (where she was baptized and married), St. Clare Parish in Braintree, Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, and St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Plantation. During her senior years, she looked forward to church bingo night at St. Gregory along with Joan and friends. A private ceremony and burial will be held for immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association in Jean’s memory.
