James C. Pascucci, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed from this world on February 17, 2026, in Davie, Florida, at the age of 90. Born in Staten Island, New York, on January 20, 1936, Jim lived a full and meaningful life marked by unwavering love for his family and an enduring passion for his community.
For Jim, family was everything. He dedicated himself to nurturing strong connections and creating memories that would be treasured for generations. His love for his wife, Mary, whom he affectionately referred to as his partner for over 70 years, was a testament to his commitment and devotion. Together, they shared a life replete with joyous moments, laughter, and support, raising a family that brought them immeasurable pride.
Jim is survived by his loving wife, Mary, and their daughter Diane Steigele, along with her husband John, sons James Jr. and his wife Jamie, and Robert and his wife Carolina. Jim's legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, each carrying a piece of his spirit and warmth within them. His family was the heart of his existence, and the memories they forged together will forever be cherished.
A devout Christian, Jim was a long-time member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, where his commitment extended to actively engaging with the Men's Club. His faith guided him through every aspect of life, grounding him in values that he passed on to his beloved family. Among his proudest accomplishments was his work selling Christmas trees, an endeavor that brought immense joy not only to himself but to the families who left with trees, their faces brightened by the happiness he instilled.
Beyond his devotion to family, Jim was an ardent Miami Dolphins fan and held season tickets, a passion he eagerly shared with Mary as they traveled to many games together. As both a devoted supporter and a spirited enthusiast, he embraced the joys and camaraderie that sports could bring, further enriching his life.
As we remember James C. Pascucci, we celebrate a life that was profoundly touched by love, family, and faith. His spirit will live on through the countless memories shared with those he adored and through the lessons he imparted to all fortunate enough to know him.
