Harvey Gottfried Bendfeldt, Jr.

Harvey Bendfeldt, Jr., 74, of Davie, Florida, passed away January 12, 2021.

Harvey was a Veteran with the United States Navy, and served our country honorably and faithfully. After his honorable discharge, his career spanned 52 years in the airline industry; 19 of the last years with Spirit Airlines, which he recently retired with.

He LOVED the Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Dolphins.  We ask you wear Miami Hurricane or Miami Dolphin gear/colors to the memorial service; our dad would have wanted it this way!

Family meant everything to him.  He is survived by two children, Cheryl (Bruce) Thrasher, and Chad (Elis) Bendfeldt; six grandchildren, Christopher (Krystle) Thrasher, Kelly Thrasher, CJ Bendfeldt, Kimberly Buhrmaster, Justin Bendfeldt, and Sophia Bendfeldt; three great-grandchildren, Brodie Thrasher, Roman Buhrmaster, and Eliza Hernandez.

Harvey is preceded in death by his wife, Mary, in 2009.
