Gonzalo Alberto Alvarez Acosta

November 26, 1949 — May 29, 2020

Gonzalo Alberto Alvarez Acosta, lived in Weston Florida. On the morning of May 29, 2020, he went into the presence of the Lord. Gonzalo was born in San Antonio de Prado in Colombia in 1949; and his parents were Rogelio and Edelmira. Gonzalo was a great business entrepreneur. He was a very eager person for knowledge. He loved to invent and build things. He fixed and restored everything that was found. He was known for his kindness and good heart. The most generous and detached person. The most familiar. He was friends with all the children, and always had a new topic to discuss.

Gonzalo is survived by his wife Martha Murillo, with whom he was happily married for 45 years. And his four children; Gonzalo Alberto, Juan Gonzalo, Natalia and Carolina. And his grandchildren Daniela, Federico, Juana Del Mar, Tatiana, Julianna, Destiny, Justin and his great-grandson Jonah.

He planted in his family firmly but with great love, the value of work, of rectitude, of dignity and of the word.

Never in adverse situations did he allow himself to be overcome by pessimism, and he fought more hard against difficulties. He was a loving husband and father and he gave affection and tenderness to all his grandchildren and nephews and they will always carry him in their hearts. Thank you for your teachings and for your infinite love that we will always carry in our hearts. May God take you into your arms as we meet again.
