Francis Anthony Verardi Jr., 60, of Weston, Florida, passed away suddenly on August 7, 2026.
Frankie was born in Hialeah, Florida, on November 5, 1965, and was raised there before spending time in various South Florida communities. He ultimately married and settled in Weston, Florida.
Frankie began his career working for Mannin Plumbing before entering civil service with the City of Hialeah Gardens. He later joined the City of Sunrise Utilities Department, where he dedicated 32 years of service. Known for his exceptional work ethic, Frankie took great pride in his work. He also took the time time to truly get to know his coworkers personally, often turning workplace relationships into lifelong friendships.
Frankie’s irreverence and warped sense of humor entertained everyone around him and was one of the many things that made him so memorable. At the same time, he was a man of strong morals and values, with an exceptional work ethic and a genuine kindness toward others.
He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also loved traveling with his wife, Fedra, and the many experiences they shared together, from exploring new places to catching a sunrise on one coast and a sunset on the other. He was also an important presence in the lives of his stepsons, Christian and Gabriel, serving as a mentor in both life’s lessons and the hobbies and interests they shared together. Frankie was a loyal friend to all who knew him and treasured time spent with his cherished lifelong friends and family. His humor, loyalty, kindness, and devotion to those closest to him will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Frankie is survived by his beloved wife and companion of 21 years, Fedra Vimercati; his stepsons, Christian and Gabriel; his mother-in-law, Nidya Vimercati; his mother, Patricia Pulice; his father, Frank Verardi Sr.; his stepfather, John Pulice; his sister, Tinamarie Anello and her husband, Michael Anello; his stepbrothers, Ricky Pulice and Michael Pulice; his beloved cousin, Anthony Arcodia; and his beloved dog, Barkley.
Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, 371 NW 136th Avenue, Sunrise, Florida 33325.
Frankie’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Frankie’s memory to Tunnel to Towers or Wounded Warriors.
