Frank D. Rossell, affectionately known as Mickey, passed away on February 5, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife Shirley Bonadio Rossell and children in Plantation, Florida. He was born on April 18, 1939, in Connellsville, Pennsylvania to Wayne Rossell and Mary Frances Rager.

Since he was a teenager, Mickey worked in the automotive industry where he possessed an innate talent and unparalleled knowledge for all things related to vehicles.

But Mick’s life extended far beyond his career. He had a zest for life that was evident to anyone who knew him. One of his greatest pleasures was spending time on the golf course. Weekends would often find him enjoying a round of golf with friends or family.

Beyond his professional achievements and love for golf, Mickey had a kind spirit that touched the lives of all who knew him. He possessed an incredible sense of humor that never failed to bring smiles to people's faces. His quick wit brightened even the darkest of days.

Mickey also had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to both friends and strangers alike. It became second nature to him to give selflessly without expecting anything in return. Truly embodying the saying "he would give the shirt off his back," Mickey had an unwavering compassion that left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.

One of Mickey's simple pleasures in life was sharing meals together with family which brought him immeasurable joy and created treasured memories that will forever be cherished.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, Mickey is survived by his children: Pamela (Bobby) Voss of Coral Springs, FL; Michael "Tony" (Kimberly) Rossell of Palm City, FL; Tina Rossell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and Sherri (Dave) Dailing of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He was an adoring grandfather to Jessica Voss, Alexandra Voss, Lucas Rossell, Bennett Rossell, and Peter Dailing.

Alongside his immediate family, Mickey leaves behind cherished memories and experiences shared with many other loved ones. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Donna Rae Leckman.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on February 10, 2024 at T. M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home in Plantation, Florida. The gathering will begin at 3:30 PM and conclude at 6:00 PM—a time for all those who loved Mickey to come together and remember the incredible impact he had on their lives.

In the face of grief and loss, as our beloved Mick departs from our earthly realm, we take solace in knowing that he has left behind an indelible mark through his kindness, laughter, generosity, and unwavering dedication to family and friends. May his memory be a guiding light as we continue forward without him.
