Francine Fazio, affectionately known as Fran, journeyed into eternal rest on July 26, 2025, at John Knox in Pompano, Florida. Born on August 23, 1954, in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, New York, Francine's life was a rich tapestry woven with love, laughter, and tradition.
In her professional life, Fran dedicated herself first as a homemaker to raise her children, then, as a retail associate at Dillard's and later as a bank associate, where her strong-willed nature and infectious laugh brightened the days of those around her. Yet, it was not her career that defined her, but rather the profound love she had for her family. To Francine, investing time with loved ones was paramount, and her home was a sanctuary of warmth and togetherness.
Upholding her cherished Italian heritage, she embraced traditions that brought flavor to her family's gatherings, particularly her renowned Sunday macaroni and meatballs. Each plate served was more than just a meal; it was a symbol of her devotion and the binding force of family ties. A natural decorator with a talent for shopping, Fran had a discerning eye for bargains at Dillard's, Marshalls, and Ross! Her home reflected her flair for style, infused with memories and warmth.
Despite battling lung cancer for two years, Francine exhibited immense strength and resilience. Her indomitable spirit remained unwavering, inspiring all around her with a lesson in courage and grace.
Francine is survived by her cherished daughter, Nicole Fimiano, her devoted son, Joseph Fazio, and her four adored grandchildren: Gina, Anthony, Juliana, and Daniela. They will forever carry her legacy in their hearts, embodying the love and traditions she so deeply valued.
She joins the arms of her beloved departed, including her mother, Dorothy Vanore, her father, Benjamin Vanore, and her partner of over thirty years, Christopher Giannelli, who were waiting to welcome her with open hearts.
In the quiet moments, the echoes of her laughter will linger, her strong will will inspire, and the delicious aromas of her cooking will be remembered fondly. Francine Fazio—an embodiment of love, laughter, and legacy—will be missed yet forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
