Florenio Mortil Ecle, 103, of Zambales, Philippines, passed away on November 2, 2025, born on April 30, 1922 in Santa Cruz, Zambales. He was a devoted husband to Felicidad Tamayo Ecle for 75 years and a loving father to Amante, Bernardo, Cristeta, David and father-in-law to Marcela, Lerma, Nelson, and Malou.
Florenio was a very hard-working carpenter, farmer, and was known to be a “world class fisherman”. Despite his many responsibilities to support the family, he always made time for them and his passion to practice his faith. He was a man of kindness, integrity, generosity and God-fearing that left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his 10 grandchildren: Cyrus, Giovanni, Kimberly, Leahmarie, Annabelle, Daniel, Cristy Joyce, Joel, Jessa and Janna; and 11 great grandchildren: Cloie Jade, Neil Calvin, Gareth, Alexis, Annamarie, Ria, Lana, Alister, Justin, Lily, and Elliot.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, from 3pm - 5pm at TM Ralph Funeral Homes and Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 11 am at Plantation United Methodist Church followed by the interment at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
We find comfort and solace in knowing that our beloved father/grandfather’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the faith he practiced. Memories of him are what we will all cherish forever.
