In Loving Memory of Enrique Aponte
December 1, 1964
Enrique Aponte, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife Marie, and his children Joel, Stephanie, and Jason.
Enrique was born on December 1, 1964, in The Bronx, New York, and lived a life full of warmth, laughter, music, and purpose. A man of quiet strength and a big heart, he left a lasting impression on every person who had the privilege of knowing him.
He had a deep passion for cooking not just meals, but memories. His kitchen was a place of joy, filled with stories, laughter, and coffee for all who wanted or needed it. He always made it with love and the intent to make you feel good. Every dish, every cup, every moment shared around his table was made with purpose to bring people together, to comfort, and to create joy.
He was the proud and loving grandfather to Avery and JJ, who brought endless light to his life. Enrique loved music with his whole heart, and the melodies he cherished became the backdrop of countless family memories. Wherever he went, music and joy followed.
He was the kind of man who could light up a room without saying a word. His smile was contagious, his sense of humor could lift any sadness, and his kindness touched everyone he met. He gave without hesitation and cared without conditions.
🕯️ A Life Like a Warm Flame
Enrique’s life was like a warm flame steady, comforting, and deeply felt. He didn’t need the spotlight to shine. His presence brought peace, and his love wrapped around his family like a blanket on a cold day. Though his physical flame has dimmed, the light and love he gave us will never fade.
Enrique is survived by his devoted wife Marie, his children Joel, Stephanie, and Jason, and his cherished grandchildren Avery and JJ. He also leaves behind a large circle of extended family and friends who were blessed by his generosity, strength, and joy.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find peace in knowing that he lives on through us in every laugh, every song, every meal, and every act of kindness we pass forward.
