Elish Patrice Mathews, beloved wife, mother, Lala, daughter, sister, mother-in-law, and friend, passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 64.

Elish was the heart of her family and a woman who loved deeply, lived fully, and never did anything halfway. She was the devoted wife of Kevin, loving mother to Dustin and Chase, mother-in-law to Alexis and Camryn, and the proud and devoted Lala to her grandson, Colton. Colton was the center of her world, and watching him grow and making memories with him brought her endless joy.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin; sons Dustin and Chase; daughters-in-law Alexis and Camryn; grandson Colton; mother Elizabeth Brady; brothers Patrick and Richard; and countless family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Elish loved the water, boating, the ocean, a glass of Kendall-Jackson, and her little piece of paradise at River Ranch. But more than anything, she loved her family and friends. She was fiercely loyal, always there when someone needed her, and had a personality that could never be forgotten. She was funny, strong-willed, generous, and unapologetically herself. She had a way of turning even the most ordinary moments into memories that would be talked about for years.

Her greatest gift was the love she gave so freely. She leaves behind a lifetime of laughter, stories, adventures, and memories that will forever keep her close.

Elish will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her family will carry her with them—in every boat day, every sunset, every glass raised in her honor, and in the love she poured into all of them.
