Edna L. Affronte passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family, on Christmas morning.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald, with whom she shared nearly 50 years of marriage.  Edna is also survived by her three daughters, Michele, Melody, and Melissa, as well as her six grandchildren, and extending family.  Edna worked as a registrar in an elementary school with Miami Dade Schools for over 20 years.  She fought a valiant fight with breast cancer for nearly nine years.  In her memory, memorials to any breast cancer organization would be welcomed.
