Edeltraud Thomas

Edeltraud Thomas passed away peacefully on January 26, 2021 at the age of 80. She was a caring and loving mother and a devoted Catholic. Edeltraud was born April 28, 1939 in Kelsterbach, Germany to Margareta Sylla and Adolph Sylla both deceased), and brother to Hans and Rhinehold (deceased). Edeltraud is survived by her husband, Henry Thomas married 59 years; her children; David Thomas; Linda Darwish and grandson Thomas Darwish and her brother Hans Sylla. Edeltraud migrated to the United States in 1963 to attend Massey Business College in Atlanta, Georgia where she graduated in 1964. Edeltraud's unfailing support and understanding helped to make possible her husband's lasting contribution to the nation until he retired from the United States Air Force on May 1, 1984. Edeltraud was involved in different civic organizations throughout her lifetime where she donated her time and resources to various causes. Edeltraud was loved by all who came into contact with her, she had a gentle and calming spirit and she will be truly missed by all. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
