Dorothy Kubasti Butler

1939-2020

Dorothy K. Butler died peacefully with her family beside her on July 11, 2020, in Sunrise, FL. She was born on October 22, 1939 in Swoyersville, PA.  Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Victoria and Joseph Kubasti; husband, William F. Butler; brother, Richard Kubasti; sons-in-law, John McKinstry and Magnus Owen; and granddaughter, Victoria Owen. 

She is survived by her children, Patricia Lee (Gordon), William, Jr. (Gail), Kimberly McKinstry and Dorothy Owen; grandchildren, Matthew Trinite (Ivy), Megan Lee, William Lee, Shelby Wilson, Cassie Wilson-Sherman, John Owen, Jacob Owen, and Magnus Owen; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Trinite, Samuel Trinite, Hailey Wilson, and Shelby Wilson, Jr.; brothers, Edward Kubasti (Betty), Joseph Kubasti (Louise), Robert Kubasti (Carol-deceased); sister-in-law, Susan Kubasti; brother-in-law, Joseph T. Butler, and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Dorothy was a funny, caring, and strong woman, who was loved by everyone who met her.  She loved, lived and died exactly as she wanted.

Dorothy will be missed, but her memory will live in those who knew and loved her.
