Dolores "Dee" Pavao, Beautiful native Hawaiian beacon of love and warmth, passed away peacefully in hospice care on November 29, 2025, in West Palm Beach. Born on October 31, 1932, in Hilo, Hawaii, Dee's life was one marked by nurturing spirit and profound connections. A proud graduate of Hilo High in 1949.She married Anthony Joseph Botelho ventured into a fulfilling career, dedicating 15 years to the corporate offices of Citi Bank, where she was known for her remarkable ability to care for others, especially the babies reflecting her deep-seated loving nature.
Family and friends alike cherished the memories of holidays spent at Dee's home, where she would create tremendous meals infused with her special touch. Her passion for cooking, particularly her love for making sushi and her enjoyment of seafood delights like shrimp, crab, and lobster, brought joy to many gatherings, reminding everyone of the importance of togetherness. She was avid bowler belonging to many leagues in Boca. Loved watching Golf and Miami Heat games knowing all the players names and numbers. Was legend at Palace Station casino in Vegas where she loved to play Blazing 7s 1.00 machines.
She leaves behind her cherished family, including Derek wife (Liane)Tony Jay Tonia Jimmy many grandchildren and great grandchildren she will be remembered not only for her warm-hearted nature but also for the strength and resilience she exhibited throughout her life. Never forgetting where she came from. Dee was welcomed into eternal rest by those she loved who have gone before her, including her parents, Mary and Manuel, and her brothers Manuel, Eddie, George, and Al, as well as her sisters Lucille, Rita, Marge sons Dennis, Todd and partner Chuck.
