Beloved father of two surviving children Stephen and Felicia Farmer, daughter-in-law Jennifer Farmer, two grandchildren Rebekah and Joshua Farmer, brother Dexter Farmer and sister Louise Ferguson as well as several nieces and nephews. Born March 22, 1938 in Lenoir North Carolina as one of six children to Fanny and William Farmer, Dermont joined the US Army after high school and served for four years. Married to wife Martha Farmer for over 50 years. Accountant for various companies and was still working at age 82. Loved three things outside of family: Alabama football Roll Tide and North Carolina basketball Go Heels and golfing. He will be missed by his family and many friends. Visitation will be held at T.M. Ralph Plantation Funeral Home, 7001 NW 4th St, Plantation FL 33317 on Saturday March 20, from 11 AM - 1 PM, with a Funeral Service to follow at 1 PM.
