Denise Lorraine Bohnstedt Pratt

Denise Lorraine Bohnstedt Pratt, 69, of Islamorada, Florida, passed away Friday, September 23, 2022, with her husband, Geoff by her side. Denise was born on March 28, 1953, in Garrett, Indiana but was a lifelong resident of Islamorada.

Denise is survived by her loving husband Geoff of 50 years, children Heather Larson and husband Randy, Geofferson Pratt and wife Jana, and Joseph Pratt and wife Erika. Grandchildren, Blake, Luke, Olivia, Emma, Ian, and Katy as well as many nieces and nephews.

Denise and Geoff were lifelong business partners, beginning as teenagers and continuing through retirement. Denise, aka Memaw,  was always a loving mother and grandmother but went above and beyond acting as a ‘second mother’ to many of her children’s friends. Any visit to her house included impromptu snacks and drinks; nobody left hungry. Denise was always planning trips to Disney and was happiest when she had all of her children under the same roof.

Per the families wishes, services will be private.
