Constantino Elefther

February 6, 1938 — July 1, 2020

Constantino “Gus” Elefther was born in Katerini, Greece on February 6, 1938. He was the third living child of George and Sophia Elefther. Gus passed away on July 1, 2020 surrounded by his family. Gus came to America as a young boy and boasted about celebrating his birthday on his long journey from Greece to America. He lived most of his life in New York City and retired in South Florida in 2005. His proudest accomplishments and treasures were his family. Gus is survived by his loving wife, Catina, daughters, Gail and Georgia, son-in-laws, David and Scott and his five grandchildren. Gus was blessed with a large family and adored his siblings, in laws, and all his nieces and nephews. His golden heart, words of wisdom and genuine loving spirit is what made him such a profound influence on all who knew him. His mantra was love all, never judge, be kind, and forgive; he exemplified these teachings in his daily life. He was grateful for life, family, and all the Lord’s blessings. Due to the difficulty of gathering at this time, a small family remembrance is being planned for Wednesday July 8 at the T.M. Ralph Funeral Home Sawgrass/Weston. He will live on in the heart of those who loved him. Your support is very important to the family, especially during these challenging times.
