Christine Marie Sparks Ihrig

Christine Marie Sparks Ihrig, 75, of Plantation, Florida passed away peacefully at home June 29, 2020. She was surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. Christine was born in Hammond, Indiana on May 8, 1945. She was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and moved to Plantation, FL in 1985. Christine married the love of her life, Billy D. Ihrig in 1969. The couple had two daughters, Erin Beasley and Ashley Ihrig-Burk. Christine made her home a place for all to gather; friends, family, neighborhood kids and any stray animal that came along. She loved her Arabian horse, Domino. The barn was her home away from home. She is survived by her two daughters, her son-in-law, Brad Beasley, three granddaughters, Kyra, Kinnley, and Shea, grandson, Maddox and her sister and brother-in-law Gary and Mary Kay Crossley. Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Billy D. Ihrig, her parents, James and Katherine Sparks, and her brother and sister-in-law, Tom and Mary Beth Sparks. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
