Cecilia Forteza

Cecilia Forteza, 95, of Sunrise, FL passed away on Friday November 3, 2023. She was born in Manhattan, New York where she met her late husband Luis Forteza, and raised her son, David. After retiring, Luis and Cecilia moved to Puerto Rico where they enjoyed the warm weather, beaches, spending holidays with family, and embracing their Puerto Rican culture. Later, they eventually moved to South Florida where she enjoyed going to church, Disney, time with family, get her hair done, crocheting, and to watch her grandsons grow. Cecilia is a beloved mother to David (Crystal) Forteza and grandmother to Ryan and Gabriel Forteza. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
